The public area
If you are not yet a Bidfood supplier, you should read the following text and guidance notes carefully, as they will help you to determine whether you can meet Bidfood’s criteria for supply.
How we operate and the standards expected are summarised below and all of which are available for prospective suppliers to download.

The first stage in becoming a new supplier is to complete this document and gauge your level of compliance.

Ethical Trading Policy
This policy outlines Bidfood’s commitment to ethical & social responsibilities, and the expectations we have of our suppliers.
These documents are for guidance only. Full details of all technical requirements will be made available after a password has been allocated and technical support assigned. All own brand suppliers will be allocated a Bidfood Technologist (food and non-food).
Passwords will only be issued following a successful supplier meeting with the respective Category team. Prior to this meeting the ‘Pre-Supply Checklist’ must be completed and submitted to the originator. The originator is the Bidfood representative responsible for introduction of a new supplier.
- Only suppliers who can meet the minimum standards for supply and agree to standard Bidfood Technical, Supply Chain and Commercial terms can move through the approval process.
- All new suppliers are initially awarded provisional approval status until an acceptable period of supply performance has elapsed.
- All suppliers to Bidfood are continuously performance monitored.
